Molecular Diversity Analysis Workshop
Instructor: Dr. İbrahim ÇELİK
Molecular marker systems were commonly used in plant and animal science to detect sequence variation due to providing valuable information to plant and animal breeding. Molecular diversity is analyzed using two clustering methods (hierarchical and model-based clustering). The current workshop will provide introduction to software used in both methods (DARwin for hierarchical clustering and Structure for model-based clustering and population structure). Also Power Core software used for core set selection will be introduced. The workshop will give participants hands-on experience using three soft wares used for molecular diversity analysis

Workshop information:
The workshop will be held on Friday, May 3, 2019 from 13:00 to 17:00.
Participation in the training is free and the quota is limited to 30 people.
The deadline for application is 29.03.2019.
The list of participants prepared according to the order of application will be announced on Monday, April 1, 2019 on the symposium website.
Because the computer lab infrastructure will be used for training, participants do not need to bring computers.
The application form must be filled out and sent to serturkcomu.edu.tr on 29 March 2019 until the end of the work.
Participation form is attached.
